Master's Gavel

As the Master of Lethbridge Lodge No. 39 A.F. & A.M. I would like to welcome all Masons and visitors to our Web site.

Lethbridge Lodge No. 39 is located in Lethbridge, Alberta Canada along the eastern edge of the magnificent Rocky Mountains on Highway No. 3, 200 km south of Calgary.

Our Lodge is a Canadian Rite Lodge with a current membership of a little over one hundred members. We have in the past year welcomed a number of new members into the Lodge, increased our focus on community involvement, focused putting the fun back into going to Lodge and the craft in general.

In 2005 Lethbridge Lodge No. 39 was active in a number of activities outside the Lodge such as:

- Operating a Refreshment Booth at the Lethbridge International Airshow.

- Continuing with the Adopt -a - Highway cleanup program.

- Sponsoring a periodical subscription at the Lethbridge Public Library.

- Lights of Hope Campaign at the Lethbridge Regional Hospital

- Donations to the local Food Bank

- Barbeque at the Lethbridge Shrine Center.

Freemasonry is a teaching tool by which the individual grows and learns through a series of lessons, which are based on the tenets and fundamental principles of the craft - Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth.

In 2006 the focus of our Lodge is going to be based on Lodge activities and a number of objectives

* Fellowship

* Community Involvement

* Education

* Fun

Freemasonry encourages the growth of the individual through learning. What we as Masons must do is provide the path by which each member of the Lodge can realize their growth potential for the betterment of himself, his family, his country and the world.
