Freemasonry is a teaching tool by which the individual grows and learns through a series of lessons, which are based on the tenets and fundamental principles of the craft - Brotherly Love, Relief and Truth.

Freemasonry encourages the growth of the individual through learning. What we as Masons must do is provide the path by which each member of the Lodge can realize their growth potential for the betterment of himself, his family, his country and the world.

What Is Freemasonry?

Freemasonry is one of the world's oldest fraternal societies. The lessons Freemasonry teaches in its ceremonies are to do with moral values (governing relations between people) and its acknowledgement, without in any way crossing the boundaries of religion, that everything depends on the providence of God. Freemasons feel that these lessons apply just as much today as they did when it took its modern form at the turn of the 17th century. Please visit the Grand Lodge of England for more Masonic history.
